This thing feels like the brainchild of a pissed off boilermaker who lost one too many brews to poor quality billys tipping over, melting and just being unable to handle the heat… ozbraai have made a vessel that, once you are done boiling water for your coffee – you can then use it as a hammer to build a coffee table. Or demolish a house. If this thing was made any sturdier it would weigh too much to move around, I literally throw it straight into the flames of the campfire – and it just takes it. If I die in the bush and remain undiscovered for a thousand years people will came across my campsite and find my skeleton crumbling to dust, and this thing looking brand new sitting in the ancient firepit. Buy it. It’s really expensive but you will literally never need to buy another one unless you lose it or you want a second one.

Great design and well made . This billy is designed to boil your water and be easy to pour and it dose just that . The handle is great , much safer than a traditional billy and the tapering makes pouring boiling water much less of a hazard . I have used conventional tin billies for many years. My last tin billy needed replacing after developing a rust hole. A was a little hesitant in making the purchase for the Ozbraai Billy but now I have used it multiple times a day on our most recent 3 month trip I can see the value.
