We bought this Travel Braai from watching a YouTube video from Fire To Fork. Looked really great to use, particularly for controlling the heat by adjusting the height. We used it a few weeks ago for the first time and it was better than we expected. Outstanding to say the least. Fantastic to control the level of heat, fantastic to work with to make sure you you weren’t over cooking your meat. We use it for ribs and they were the best we’ve ever been able to cook over coals. Love the the Travel Baai and would highly recommend it if you’re serious about cooking over coals.

I love the larger Braai. Cooking lots of food at once makes it so simple. I do have one problem with the handle. Because it slides it can slide while cooking. It would make it easy if you could lock the handle in place so it didn’t slide. Cleaning is easy. Throw in the dishwasher or jus get a scourer and runover it. I’m thinking of buying the travel braai.

Love these things , so useful except for one minor issue.
The clamp which hold the the stands steady keep coming off when flipping the braai.
Then it to hot to put back on.
Have the same issue with both.

As I already own (and love) the large Braai basket I jumped at the chance for a smaller version to accompany it! It comes with a little satchel style bag that it fits perfectly in – making it very easy to carry around comfortably. Perfect for toasted sandwiches, smaller quantities of steaks and sausages for 1 or 2, if you’re packing light it’s very light and compact so fits well into a pack or dry box.
Build quality is excellent, and love that the handles slide down to be more compact.
